Perfect Star Gives Back

At Perfect Star, we believe our work goes far beyond heating, cooling, and electrical—it’s about people. We’re proud to invest in the communities we serve through meaningful initiatives that make a difference. From partnering with Lennox’s Feel the Love program to honor unsung heroes, to supporting local nonprofits, schools, and service projects, giving back is at the heart of who we are. When our community thrives, we all shine brighter.
Joybound Pets and Vets
Joybound Pets and Vets was launched in 2011 as a service providing emotional support animals to U.S. military heroes. Our program now includes a variety of services for Veterans, including free adoptions, veterinary care, and a training program that transforms rescue dogs into psychiatric service animals for Veterans with PTSD, traumatic brain injuries, anxiety, and more. Our goal is to unleash happiness, support and give back unconditional love to our Veterans who have given so much of themselves.

FEEL THE LOVE NOMINATIONS ARE OPEN YEAR ROUND!
To nominate deserving family or community member click HERE or visit feelthelove.com
The Lennox “Feel The Love” Program invites individuals and local organizations in participating areas to nominate families or individuals in their communities. Recipients are selected based on a variety of criteria, including physical, mental, or social disabilities; financial challenges; job loss; military service; and community service. But beyond that, each recipient has one thing in common: they always put others first. Past nominees include community figures such as teachers, firefighters and volunteers; families facing hard times; veterans; senior citizens living in older homes; and people impacted by natural disasters.
Last year Perfect Star selected and donated a new HVAC system to the H.O.P.E. House. H.O.P.E. House is a food and clothing ministry that provides basic necessities for our most vulnerable community members in their time of need. Our team worked with The Rotary Club of Brentwood to complete meaningful projects to help them continue to serve local residents.

FOOD BANK OF CONTRA COSTA & SOLANO
Every Year, Perfect Star Heating and Air Conditioning partners with the Food Bank of Contra Costa and Solano; donating $10 for every tune-up performed in the months of November & December. But this year, of all years, Perfect Star wanted to do more. So Perfect Star, with the aid of Cardenas Markets, donated 200 turkeys to The Food Bank this year. Perfect Star Owner, Chris Donzelli and his wife Christina were hands on, loading and offloading all 200 turkeys with the assistance of the outstanding staff at Cardenas and The Food Bank.
Started in 1975, the Food Bank of Contra Costa and Solano distributes food directly to low-income people at community sites and makes food available for other nonprofit organizations serving the ill, needy and children.

Your heart and dedication will help us aid the wounded, critically ill and injured service members of our nation and their families. There are not enough words to express our gratitude for your being part of our mission – service those who preserve our freedom.

Adventure Therapy Foundation began in the summer of 2018, a year after our founder Lauren, met a stranger in an airport who engaged her in conversation, listened to her journey through cancer and asked her, “What do you want to do with your story?” This question sent Lauren on a search through Yosemite to answer that, and she found the beginning of a dream. A dream to “Use adventure to help those impacted by cancer to escape the emotional “rut” that occurs after treatment.” Adventure Therapy Foundation was founded, and here we are years later, and hundreds of individuals dealing with a cancer diagnosis have been helped through the mine-field of emotions, into a place of healing and restoration.
One young mom’s cancer diagnosis began her journey to survive, not just from the disease, but also from the emotional side effects of fear, isolation and broken identity. Adventure Therapy Foundation is her way to help others minimize those side effects and get on with the healing and the living.
Adventure Therapy Foundation is a nonprofit that exists to break the destructive cycles created by the isolation, fear and broken identity in families impacted by cancer. Through programs that are designed to teach individuals and families how to face each side effect and learn how to break through it.
