Perfect Star Heating and Air Conditioning is in search of a HVAC Warranty Technician. This is not the standard HVAC service technician position. We are looking for a highly experienced technician for our Install Warranty Department. It is imperative for this position that the client or equipment concerns are corrected on the first visit using your knowledge of all types of service work and installation. If you are highly proficient at delivering world class customer service and resolving technical issues but do not want to be responsible for selling, this is a great fit.

MUST have a minimum of 3 years of RESIDENTIAL HVAC experience. MUST have EPA Certification. MUST have a valid driver’s license with a good driving record.

Must be proficient in:

– Brazing

– Leak searching

– Stain, paint, patch, and drywall repair.

– All around home repair of any rare and unfortunate small damages to a client’s home caused by installation.

– Knowing how systems are installed per code, so issues can be corrected while onsite.

– Being able to address and solve issues unassisted and with minimal oversight.

– Time Management. Overall awareness and proper record keeping, ensuring all assigned jobs are completed in a timely manner.

-Diagnosing, fixing, repairing anything and everything from flu-pipes, furnaces, air conditioners, refrigerant problems, low/high voltage, electrical wiring issues and the overall concerns of our clients.

– Working in extreme weather conditions (hot and cold)

– Working in tight spaces and being comfortable with heights.

Job Title: HVAC Warranty Technician

Pay Hourly: Depending on experience $25-$30 an hour

Department: Service

Reports to: Owner and Service Coordinator

Work Hours: Vary. Monday -Friday, some evenings and weekends during peak seasons

Qualifications and Responsibilities:

· High school diploma or its equivalent

· Exhibit professional conduct at all times, whether at the job site or driving company vehicles

· Work alongside team members and management dispatchers to ensure overall success of the business.

· Maintain a clean, organized job site and well inventoried truck.

· Participate actively in all training exercises, morning meetings, and technical vendor training.
